Back to the basics...to kick off the launch of YAfiction.org's new website, we will be holding a "First Three Chapters" contest. This contest was the first held by YAfiction.org (formerly YAfiction.com), so it seems fitting!
GUIDELINES:
The opening date for the FTC contest will be October 1st 2008, and will close on Nov 1st at midnight EST.
Entries should be emailed as a word document or pdf to: editor@yafiction.org
All YA and MG genres are welcome, and is open to the public.
No page limit - just the first three chapters!
The winner's work will be judged (by a panel at YAfiction.org) on originality, quality of writing, and most compelling/unique characters and voice.
The prize for this contest is $150 and membership to YAfiction.org (if not already a member!)
